HIKING GUIDE
We offer English-speaking hiking guides with decades of experience in hiking, trekking, and climbing.
Due to insurance requirements, selecting expert routes that require crampons or an ice axe needs to be discussed in advance.
PLANNING & BOOKING
We offer free trip planning and booking support when you book our guide service. If you need assistance with rental equipment or shopping for goods, we are happy to support you as a part of our guide service.
AND MORE
We are happy to accommodate your wishes, such as enjoying local foods, cultural experience or other outdoor activities (e.g. skiing, fishing). They are integral parts of our activities, making your trip enriching and fruitful.

Accommodation fees
The room rate greatly depends on the quality and the area, which starts from 80 USD for the basic to over 300 USD for the fancy one. Tell us your wish (budget, foods, etc), then we support you to find out the right one and the booking.
Mountain huts typically cost 100 USD per night and include two meals.
Transportation expenses
The fees for rental car, train, bus, toll road or parking lot will be needed depending on where to go. The public transport fees of the guide will be charged as well (only in case).
These fees will be clearly mentioned in the quotation you will get.
Rental goods
If you don’t have or don’t bring necessary clothing or equipment for hiking, you can rent them in Japan at reasonable costs.

Lunches, trail foods
Lunches are not included in the accommodation fees. You will need to carry trail food (e.g., energy snacks or biscuits) while in the mountains, which can be purchased at convenience stores along the way. It is highly recommended to bring food you are familiar with and that you can eat when you feel tired.
Insurance
We kindly request all guests to obtain insurance that covers outdoor activities while participating in our outings. This is crucial, as the cost of a rescue—sometimes including helicopter fees—can amount to thousand of USD if you get lost in the mountains.
IMPORTANT: We cannot obtain the insurance on your behalf, so you must apply for it yourself.

CANCEL CHARGE
For the guide fee, the following cancel charge and transaction fee will be deducted from the refund.
- ・> 7 days before the starting day: 20%
- ・2 - 7 days before the starting day: 30%
- ・1 day before the starting day: 50%
- ・On the starting day no no-show: 100%
The cancel charge for accommodation or transportation depends on each condition. We will deduct the charges from the refund (only when we make the booking with your deposit).
Due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., a typhoon, an epidemic, or simply bad weather), we may have to cancel the trip or suggest alternative plan(s). In fact, our strength lies in having alternatives, as outdoor sports are always subject to weather conditions.
- If you agree with the revised plan and the costs (up & down), the adjustment invoice will be sent.
- If we cannot offer any alternatives or you don’t agree with the revised plan, we will refund the full-amount.
